Adeyemi S. Mchunguzi
Adeyemi is a human capital strategist that breaks down institutional roadblocks to diversity, equity, and inclusion. He successfully builds engagement models that strengthen the connection between organizations and underrepresented communities.
Adeyemi has spent his career in professional services firms where he’s managed strong relationships and delivered high quality solutions for his clients. Over the years, he’s advised industry leaders such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Omidyar Network, and Citi on effective strategies for achieving their DEI goals of improving representation and retention. Adeyemi also led Talent Acquisition for the nation's largest Black media startup where he successfully tripled the team’s size, maintained 80%+ retention and 94% offer acceptance rate. Additionally, Adeyemi develops training materials and workshops that foster constructive dialogue on topics of equity and inclusion.
Previously, Adeyemi worked at a civil defense law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina in operations & litigation support roles. He served as lead on various organizational development projects, including a firm-wide restructuring that created new systems of performance management, team structure, finance, and client engagement.
Adeyemi’s experience working with 10,000+ candidates and 100+ hiring managers informs his coaching services. As a career coach, he consistently improves candidate outcomes, including interview success, offer packages, and career satisfaction.
